Most of us do know that eating organic food can only benefit you, because that food has no pesticides and other harmful things.
It is completely normal that you are used to non-organic food, because it is still more popular than organic food, but what will happen to us if we decide that we want to start using organic food?
One family consumed organic fruit and veggies for two weeks, and they felt a certain change. This is a family from Sweden and they’ve been eating non-organic food their whole life, so they decided it to give it a try and change their habits for two weeks.
To see if there will be any change, they tested their urine for twelve different pesticides while they were consuming non-organic food, and they did it while they were on their organic “diet”.
What happened after two weeks? Well believe it or not, pesticides that were found in the urine had simply vanished.
It shows that a lot of us who are consuming non-organic food are exposed to these pesticides on a daily basis. Since most people eat fruit and veggies almost every day, they do not get one type of these pesticides, they get more.
And that increases our chances of having any health issues and we could avoid it, if we only ate organic food.
You cannot get sick if you eat non-organic food for a short period of time, but since we are exposed to it since the day we were born, our body is full of pesticides and other threats.
